Busy doing nothing and something...

I've been doing stuff. When I'm not busy doing something, I'm busy doing nothing. hee hee

Every so often this summer, I've been helping out a friend who is starting up his own business. He's been at it since early this year and is still mired deep in red tape and gov't paperwork. It's been very frustrating for him since he can't really run his business without various and sundry certifications and licenses.

I've been helping him a lot this week as he prepares for an imminent inspection. Please send out happy thoughts, say prayers, light candles, put out good vibes to the universe, or whatever you feel comfortable doing to help him along.

This week is my last week of classes. I'm not so sad ending Drawing class as it was mainly Senior Social Hour every Tuesday morning. I did learn quite a lot, and will continue to draw and learn new things on my own.

I am very sad that this Friday is my last Jewelry Class and I am sad. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this class! I've learned SOOOOOOO much from this class. Now that I won't be going to class anymore, I'll have to start doing some fierce designing and construction and get some of this awesome cool stuff I've been doing up in my shop.

Promise to do more posting, I've just not been into any of it this month.

  1. Good vibes going out to your friend...is it Tom? I know he has an inspection today...the miracles of facebook. ;)

Sorry your jewelry class is ending. I know you've been LOVING it. I ended my 6 weeks of horseback riding lessons, and decided that I am going to stick with it, so signed up for another 5 week session. Yay me!

  2. Ding ding ding...you were right.

I am truly tempted to sign up again for the fall session jewelry class, but I think 6 weeks is my limit. The class lasts 3 hours and for 12 weeks. I was ready to leave the last class half way thru. :)

Don't think my wallet could handle it either. I have about 90% of the supplies I need for the class, but it's that 10% that could break me.
