# 567 Where she continues to do nothing...

...and I'm still not "doing" all that much.

I did manage to go out for a bike ride with Spencer on Sunday which was wonderful. I really missed being out on Puff.

I still haven't done laundry...it has been two weeks. REALLY need to do laundry. I guess I'll attempt to do some tomorrow. Need the undies.

Tonight, I did dishes and made dinner for the first time all on my own.

And now my hand aches.

It's getting better and better every day, and I'm getting further and further every day before it signals - HEY! Cut it out.

Spencer and I have finally sat down and discussed the color scheme for his new beanie. I'm excited to start swatching (yes, I'm going to swatch) tomorrow. This yarn is double knit and I normally knit with the one that's a bit thicker than that. It's been so long since I've done anything yarn related that I can't even remember what the hell it's called! GAH. Anyway, need to swatch to figure out how many stitches need to go round his head. Can't wait.

Got a very uplifting email from the parent volunteer coordinator from Spencer's old school. I've been in a downer mood lately and this brought me up a bit. She sent me a photo of the current 8th grade class's production of MacBeth. They are all wearing costumes I made about 4 years ago or so for the school Renaisance Faire. It was good to see my handiwork - still at work. :) Silly me was afraid that they wouldn't last the day back then.

Damn I'm good with a needle.

  1. Never thought I'd ever see knitting as a label ever again...

Glad to hear that you're getting back into knitting.
Loved reading about the costumes, too. Well done!
